Fatal accident :(
Guys,
I'm not sure if Allgameracer posted in the 3rd gen section (he had a silver FD), but to anyone who might have known of him, he was killed last night when he lost control of his FD and hit a tree head on .

That's real sad, 18 is nothing in the span of life.
I've never seen his posts but I feel for the family. I can't imagine the greif of outliving your son.
Sounds like he fell asleep by reading the previous thread. I did that and went off a cliff, ironically one of the trees I ran over saved my life.
Did he remove his airbag, and/or not have a seat belt on?

Its always leaves you speechless when something effects you so close or personally. I never noticed his posts but its painful to know someone from this group was lost. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Allgameracer.

Blow up or win
This is terrible news......
For a man to die so young.........
Please guys - and this is advice from an old fart:
Wear your seatbelts, and if you are sleepy or unable to drive always call someone to take you home.
There is no pride or honor lost by admitting you sometimes need help. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Like I always say...when I were 18 and had an FD, I would have almost surely killed myself.
Please, be careful people.

its scary, to think that it can happen to you, no matter how cool our FD's look we still have to remember how much power even a stock FD has, and how they relate to different situations. I was almost in an accident about a month ago when the first rain of the season fell. I was going the speed limit and I hit a standing puddle of water. I know that only 3 things saved that car and myself that night; My experience autocrossing, it was a 3 lane road, and God. I guess you never really believe it till it really happens.

Yeah be careful guys.
This is what can happen in a fast car, take the
most precautions that you can.
Lets have a moment of silence for our fellow FD driver Allgameracer.

Constant threat
Oh hell.......that just sucks SO bad!
Only 18.....dammit, that kid had ALL the good stuff of his whole life ahead of him......
Please, please PLEASE everyone be careful! It is when you least expect it that this **** happens.
And leave the airbags installed. I can't think of ANY good reason on a street car to take it out.
Anyone that knows his family, please pass on all of this Forum's condolences.
Godspeed, Jesse.

i am not usualy Mr. Empathy, but condolences to his family and friends. sorry to hear stuff like this.
i have personaly been somewhat "hardened" to death in my life. so many of my close friends have died that sometimes i feel i had to start my life all over. a few years back within a matter of 3 months i lost 4 friends, it was not just 4, but 4 in a matter of 3 months. (one was my best friend and grew up together and was with him until a few hours before he died and was the one to find his body ) they all OD'd on heroin. a different kind of death than a car accident, but still a loss.
another guy i grew up with and have been friends with is now in a state prison for manslaughter. he killed 2 kids while driving under the influence.
dont be a fool. wear your seatbelt, and like Ron said, dont be ashamed to call someone for help.
just for the record, i dont do smack and i am 22 days sober from alcohol.

This is terrible news. I am so sorry for his friends/family. When I was 18 I wrecked my 82 RX7 on a windy road showing off. I lost control and fishtailed and hit a BIG tree. another car came the opposite direction a few seconds later. That was the closest I ever came to death.
PLEASE drive careful everyone. The FD can give you a false sense of security. You have to respect the power of the car.
