fan problem...fix?
I recently took my monster out for a spin and as I came to a stop I heard, as the fan came on, a clicking sound as if it were rubbing something. I drove home as quickly as possible and have since taken out the airbox, and intercooler. I still have not gotten to the fans yet as they are under the radiator ( I have the full RE V-mount set up). I tried getting to the fans from the bottom but I don't have the clearance nor can I see under there well, so I'm going to have to take the radiator out.
I'm not the most experienced mechanically (I don't understand half the jargon you guys use..but I'm learning) so I need help doing this right and any tips on what to look for and what steps to take....Do I need to purge the cooling system? etc...
Cheers

no you should just be able to drain the coolant from the drain plug and take the radiator out.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but on the V-mount the radiator and fans can be gotten to from the bottom of the car. You should be able to jack the car up. Put it on stands. Remove the undercover and see the fans right there. If needed the radiator can come out without removing the airbox or intercooler.
