A/F gauges have been known to be completely inaccurate. The only way to get an accurate reading of your A/F when driving would be to get a wideband. The gauge is more for bling bling than anything, especially in these cars that run so damn rich.

Then my gauge must be set up right then!!! It shows it running crazy rich. I'm gonna have to get my car to SR to have them tune it.
I just put in a new boost gauge ... it is the Greddy Electric gauge .... When I turn on the car it shows me Idling at 1.0 .. hmmmmm is this right???
The install guide says to install from the boost sensor to the Fuel Pressure Regulator then to the manifold!! But there is no vaccum line on the fuel pressure regulator that I saw .. So I went from the boost sensor directly to the upper manifold... Is this right?? I knew I should have taken it right to SR and have them install it

As Kyle pointed out, an A/F meter using the stock o2 sensor is pretty worthless and IS worthless for tuning purposes.
The map sensor for the Greddy gauge SHOULD be installed to the unused nipple on the passenger side of the UIM, not the fuel pressure regulator. Are you sure you have the electrical part of the gauge hooked up right?
As far as I know, SR does not do dyno tuning. They will give you a set map for your mods.

I just checked and I had the A/F Gauge connected to the Boost DLU .. errrrrrr I hate it when its my fault!!!
I ttok it for a drive and my A/F is more stable and seems to be working right .. but my boost is erratic ... When I'm at Idle it will be pointing straight down at 700 ..been when I start to have some boost it seems ok but it will spike then drop back down .. the faster I go the more accurate it seems to be but when I take my foot off the gas it will peak as far as 1.5then back down straight down... does the gauge need to be broken in??

sounds like an a/f gauge is worthless unless you get the wideband for a better accurate reading. i was planning on getting three gagues, boost, water temp, and air fuel. but now i'm thinking about just getting the boost and water temp.

Just don't even pay attention to your A/F gauge. Seriously. Those things are so inaccurate it's not even funny. You don't need it, it's just there to look pretty. Don't worry about what it's doing.
