for the 4k i would go with ebay DP and MP, nice catback, intake, PFC, intercooler, upgraded radiator, boost gauge, and probably convert to non seq. that should take up about 3k worth. save the rest for when you want to go single.

Don't spend a penny of the that $4K until the car is in perfect shape otherwise.

* New fuel filter.
* Check brake pads and rotors.
* need a new 5th gear syncro?
* Change the diff and trans oil.
* Check Clutch wear.
* While doing a hose job, replace the fpd and have the injectors cleaned/rebuilt.
* Make sure that hose job includes coolant hoses.
* Check and replace if necessary suspension bushings front and rear.
* Are the shocks shot?
* check the play on the turbos. Are the cracks in the turbos so bad that they leak?
* Fix any oil and coolant leaks.

New owners usually put way too much emphasis on mods and not enough on making sure thier car is in excellent running condition.
