exhaust manifold leak

the oem exhaust manifold gaskets have a lip on the corners of them. if you put an aftermarket flange onto them, won't you get a leak between the ports? that seems to be what's going on for me

help? :p

the very inner ring should be about the same height as those lips

once crushed though it may leak its best to use new ones if theyre flat.
