exhaust manifold flapper door question

so i need someone else opinion who has removed the exhaust manifold (between the turbos and the engine) so i can have another basis for comparison, the turbo control flapper door inside even though the actuator and and rod are tight and doing their job youll notice that the actual flapper door is made of three pieces kind of sandwiched together. my question is when you last took yours apart how much free movement was there between the two larger parts of the door? could you move them around freely with just your finger causing it rattle around and make considerable noise inside the manifold? keep in mind this is with the door in its default closed position and the actuator and rod are still attached and in good shape. im just trying to describe the free play between the metal door components.

Sorry no pics

Yes they move freely , they need to so they will not bind up when they expand when they get hot . The shaft and bearing are also a loose fit .
