Unhappy Excessive Oil Consumption

My car has been burning a lot of oil as of late. Not so much under normal driving, but when it's being driven hard, like on mountain roads with constant WOT and high sustaining RPM's. I get a lot of smoke under WOT and high RPM light throttle. Sometimes as much as 1/2 quart after driving. What could the problem be? Turbos, MOP, or something more serious, like worn seals. I also have some gas dilution going on with my oil.

mine will do that....not under driving but when i come to a stop it will put out some blue smoke and then go away. this only happens after a hard night of high rpm's for a long while and driving really hard. its not a giant smoke stack but its not just a puff either.

neevosh -
Sounds like it may be TURBO oil seals - Check in the ic piping & IC botton tank for excessive oil. could be MOP but a bad mop should put the ecu into "Limp Home" mode and throw a check engine code.

My Turbos leak into the intake 1qt/400mi and I get similar symptoms.

I hope it's my turbos, but I haven't noticed a lot of oil in my IC piping, unless it's all colecting in my endtanks. I am running rich, but not that much. About an 11:1 A/F ratio.

I think it's higher than that. It's how you maintain it
