Evo 9 Intercooler for now?

I have a buddy who is getting rid of his Evo 9 IC, I was thinking about using it until I can get a v mount setup going.

What do you think of this idea, my thoughts are that it can only be better then the stock IC.

that actually looks pretty good.... EVO 8/9 IC's are good for about 400hp at 25psi (on stock turbo with meth/alky injection).....
im not sure what their efficiency is at but im sure it slightly better than the FD's stocker.

it'd be nice to use it as a sort of "jig" for when you get a proper IC for a v-mount setup tho.

I'm wondering if the size and shape of the core is really a good fit for the FD's engine bay.

i said earlier that the google translation left something to desire... I think the front tires are 255's if that helps...

this isn't really the thread for it; and i don't recall which one is which, but one of the intercoolers doesn't require cutting the bumper. Granted this is all for the s6 so i don't know about the s7 fitment. also, make sure that your engine cooling is sufficient. aftermarket rad, lower fan temps, and so on.
