(which im greatly awaiting how it turns out). jim, you are using HID lamps or not? speaking of seeing around corners... the new lexus' cars have the lamps that turn corners with you. the older ones had those little aux. lights that would come on when you put one of the turn signals on to see around the corner... i always thought that was cool.

yeah i was joking about that with my friend two days before this happened (when another deer jumped out into the road... but i was able to avoid him). really those have been my only experiences w/ deer jumping out. they are normally a little better behaved around here... maybe they have seasonal affective disorder and are depressed because of winter? i dont know... but i hope they stop this nonsese soon
... in the mean time id like to get some better lights so i at least have a WARNING of an impending impact (even if i cant prevent it). -heath

also the comment earlier about modifying the brights and lows to run at the same time (when in bright mode) is another good idea for more light. piaa also sells over rated bulbs (like 20 extra watts of light) but our wiring would have to most likely be upgraded so it didnt melt. i also wonder about the stock optics of hte lense... if people would consider them a weak link in the lighting systems (as so many other systems on other cars w/ the same wattage seem to work much better in my opinion)
I believe there still is adjustment even with the motors, so the high point should be able to be set. From the pics of the parts fiche, it looks like the adjustment screw goes into the motor. It doesn't make sense to have the manual adjustment not there - it's necessary to properly aim the lights.

ok, i got them in the mail today from belgum. i was up late tonight playing with the circuit trying to get it to work right, and i think i have it figured out. the lights/brackets are not mounted in the car yet.
if anyone is interested i can take some pictures of the required parts and or post up what i think should be the proper wiring diagram. i still need a matching female connector for the switch (still have to find a source for it).... but just using some good old aligator clips, im pretty confident that all you need is the switch, the two little motors, and a 12v power source. if you guys want more details post, and ill reply.
