They all come up "Part not found" , according to the 'order by part number' section of Mazdacomp's website. They're not in the catalog, either.

What about Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda?

i dont think ray can even get j-spec parts let alone e-spec ones. looks like ill be ordering directly from some european mazda dealarship (read $$$). ok well ill start calling around in my spare time. if anyone else has any info or friendly european dealarships let me know. all i can do i call the ones in the UK, as i only speak english. maybe i can convince my german friend to get on the horn with the german dealars... anyone speak anything else usefull for this situation? optimally id like to compare a few dealars for some price shopping.

is there anyone else seriously interested in this conversion besides me at this point?? keep in mind i have no idea what it will take to get this stuff working in our cars at this point... but it would sure be nice to be able to collaborate w/ others as my electrical knowledge is rather basic. -heath

If you want you can call tim at rxmotors in the uk, tell him spyro from greece 011441725516462. He deals only with rx7 used parts if you're interested in used.

I'd be interested if the cost is less than $75. I can't budget any more than that on something other than an engine-reliability mod right now.

At the very least, I'll gladly help you with the electronics / wiring. Find wiring diagrams, and I can decipher them.

anyway if anyone can help let me know... and no, im not really interested in the fixed light kits despite the better optics... i guess im a creature of habit but i like the pop-ups . -heath

I edited it to 'spelled', but spelt can also be used. The dictionary is your friend!

spell1 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (spl)
v. spelled, or spelt (splt) spell·ing, spells
v. tr.

Anywho, back on topic here!!

whatever... i cant spell either .

anyway, back to the thread.... i hit a ******* deer on the road tonight!!! it probably could have been avoided if i had some better lighting... i didnt see it untill the last second when it darted out literally RIGHT IN FRONT of my car. so now i have even more reason to get one of these adjustable headlight systems. -heath (someone give me one... and a new front end, rh fender, and light assembly).

just regular hid projectors with a little motor that changes the beam pattern, so hi and low beam with one projector. Hi end cars have them but u can get them used for probably cheaper then the e-spec lights new

are there rx7 specific conversions for the bi-xenon?? how fast do the bi-xenons react? meaning... if you flip the brights switch, do you have a relatively instantanious transition from low beam to high? (as with the current setup?)

not that i know of, i think u can just get one of a audi or fx45 with bi's

i dont think they react as fast as regular highbeams but should be same or close to the reaction time of the e-spec lights

check out hidtech.com lots of info on all types of hid's

You shouldn't try to apply logic to people's actions. It hurts less.

A deer can still run out in front of your car regardless of how far ahead you can see, especially on corners where your headlights don't illuminate as much of the road. Ouch. Logic.

If you're worried about deer, get one of those whistle things and mount it in your bumper opening or something.
