Estimate my rwhp with this setup!
Please feel free to drop a line and estimate my rwhp.
I'm getting tuned by Steve in a couple of weeks and like to see where I'm headed.
to be frank I'm squeezing all I can out of my stock engine.
STOCK engine (42k)
XS Engineering T04E Turbo kit
Blitz SBC ID Boost controller
Apex FMIC
PFC
3" mid pipe (no catalytic converter)
Tanabe Racing Medalion Exhaust
550cc x 1300cc
Supra TT fuel pump
HKS Twin Power
HKS Spark Plugs (10s)

so you are saying 16 psi is too much for stock engine? I agree with you. I will NOT go past 14.5/15 psi.

330rwhp @15 psi
I dont think 16psi is too much for a stock engine, it all depends on the tuning. Do you have a wide band, egt, boost, oil and water gauge?
IMO it is vital to know what is going on with your motor at all times.
I run all the mentioned above plus oil temp and oil pressure.
ps: the stock gauges suck, don't trust them!

dubulup is right as usual. There's absolutely nothing wrong with running high boost on the stock engine. In fact, you are in a great position to have a stock engine that nobody has tampered with. That engine with so little miles is solid and your car may never run as good after someone rebuilds it...depends on who does it.
I also agree with black93 that the dyno numbers will be lower than what the first guy posted. There's no way you will make 375rwhp at 16psi, maybe at 18
A better estimate is 350@15psi
My old car made 380rwhp at 15.5psi on the stock engine with 47k miles but it was with a T-66 about the size of a to4r I believe

yes, as far as gauges I got Defi: Boost, EGT, Water, AFR.
sounds tempting. When I hit over 350 I'll be happy. I should post the dyno when its done.

Seeing how Ray is in San Jose the best octane he's gonna do is probably 91 (there is 100 but its just expensive as heck) so it seems its going to be on par with what people make at 91. He's also getting away from any problems with a sequential system that he might run into. I think its a good idea, if he gets great at driving his car he can run some 100 octane at the track and put down more power. Although I might be biased because I had that turbo too. Just seems like the best turbo for CA daily driveability.

Sounds about right w/ stock ported motor. About the same as stock twins at 15-16psi. I believe you would have a better AFR ratio w/ the single though( at the same horsepower). I have a very safe tune and am putting down 365 w/ a ported motor/ stock twins. A good street ported motor will yield another 30.

yes, I'm hoping to get 15 - 20 K miles out of it on the street.
