I'm in too. I want faster shifts. I've been know as a
Granny shifter too long.

Hope it's worth the extra $$$. I have the Mazdaspeed
shifter and this should be a nice addition.

Let me know how many guys we get on this buy.
And will this cause any damage to the side of the engine bay at all?

I hope Chrispeed chimes in here, he knows all the technical stuff about it. My personal experience with it has been flawless, I was so exictewd when I installed it, it was like the first day I bought my car !! If there is sufficient demand after the first run of 30 is sold out additional units may be made . This will however probably be at a slightly higher cost and there are no guarantees it will happen. I suggest you check under the cushions of your couch for that spare change and join the current group buy if you can

I too have shortshifter (Mazdatrix) and I'll be quite honest, I don't think I've ever missed that infamous 2-3 shift and ended up in 5th. I still have an untouched tranny with all the original synchros so something must be working right
And yes it should help a lot at the strip.
