Engine Rebuilt

I was recommended to visit this site and ask my question: I live in the bay area (San francisco area) and I am recently going to acquire a 3rd gen. rx 7 and I am looking into rebuilding the engine. If any are around my area, do you know any good shops to go to so I it can be rebuilt? Cost? If not, any good websites I can go to so I can get it rebuilt? Thanks.

For rebuild, you can either get a Mazda remanufactured one or get someone to rebuilt yours.

I think Ricks Rotory Performance does rebuild, not sure though. That's the only shop that I can think of that does rebuilds.

What's wrong with the car? Maybe it doesn't need a rebuild. There are tons of good mechanics in the bay area. Rick's, Ivan @ Sunnyvale Mazda, Mazda Masters are just a few. There is a list of shops on this site somewhere.
