Engine Harness connectors. . .

Can anyone help out identifying the connectors are in the engine harness. . .was removing mine to prep it for the ecu but it's so cooked that there are bare wires and broken connectors everywhere. . .

Instead of paying $1100 for a new one that will get half of it cut out, I'm looking at building my own. . .went to a few auto electrical shops in town but no one could help me out. . .

It's damn near impossible to truly rebuild a harness. Most if not all of the connectors are not available or are incredibly hard to source.

Best bet is to find a JDM harness or a lower mileage harness to work with.

Yeah I'm just curious as to where the guys that build the harnesses are getting their parts. . .

I've got many JDM harnesses but would like to build one all new. . .

Thanks guys. . .

was making new harness's with mil spec wire, but required your old harness as a core for the connectors, he spent a lot of time trying to source new connectors only to come to the conclusion if your not mazda or another big car company your not buying connectors from the oem connector manufacture. which is why he required cores for the his milspec rewire.

actually not all connectors are reused...

Are you reusing the ECU connectors? Is that why you need a core?

One "ecu" connector I cannot get nor can I find the iac connector since it isn't listed in the manufacture's catalog. I also re use your firewall boot. I will be looking at aircraft plugs in the future but they are spendy. This will eliminate the need for using the boot thing.
Another reason why I require a core is because I'm looking toward the future. I don't know how long these new connectors will be in supply in the lower quantities that I need. Most places want 5000 piece minimum qty per line.

Banzai Racing has sourced some of the connectors like the ECU connectors, but they bought in bulk and have the proper crimping tools.

A few of the basic connectors like the MAP and boost control solenoid connectors are readily available (I actually got Ballanger motorsports to source the boost control solenoid connectors with the help of Sandro on this forum), but a lot of the other ones are pretty obscure.

I pretty much have sources all of the engine harness connectors besides the IAC, Three way solenoids and the switching valves. I even have all GM map/baro, GM IAT, GM EGT, LS1, LS2, kavlico(AEM map sensor), even the high desnity fire wall breaks. Pm me with a kits and ill get you a quote and a time frame.
