New FD engine wire harnesses with mil spec wire.

New FD engine wire harnesses with mil spec wire.

We all know that these cars are getting old, and the engine bay is as hot as the fires of Mordor. This has caused engine failures due to crispy wires and connectors.

I am offering an alternative replacement to the OEM harness. Say goodbye to split loom plastic and cheap wire. My harnesses are made with mil spec wire, high quality heat shrink, and new connectors (except for a select few). This will definitely look more sleek than the stock garbage.

It is very important to read the following if you would like one of my harnesses:
I am currently offering only "single turbo," and "non-seq" packages.
Making harnesses with the sequential control are currently not cost effective.

These are build to order, each one is made to the specifics of each client's needs.
I also REQUIRE a core harness.

I offer a base package that includes what I feel is the bare minimum for the engine. Anything additional is a la carte. I am currently only offering Plug and Play style setups that are offered on ECUs such as the PowerFC and the AEM EMS.

Base package for $650 shipped includes:

4x injector connectors. (currently offering OEM and ev1 styles)
ECU water temp connector
Gauge water temp connector
Fan thermo with FC thermo switch
Throttle position sensor connector
Air temp connector
Knock connector
2x Crank sensor connectors
4x transmission connectors
Coolant level buzzer connectors

Current A la carte offerings at $40 a connector:
Idle Air Control connector
Stock 02 sensor connector
Fuel Purge Control connector
Fuel Temp connector
Oil Metering Pump connector
Air Pump connector
EGR connector

If you are interested, here is what I need from you to get started:

• PM me for your specific needs and questions that you may have. Note that I may be working on a current order and I will let you know the ETA to start on your harness. I make these in my spare time so it may take up to four weeks from start to finish. My average is currently two weeks.

• A 50 dollar non refundable deposit towards the purchase price to my PayPal is required to start. I also now offer Amazon payments for those that do not like PayPal. PM me for details.

• Once I am close to finishing your custom harness, I will ask for a core harness to be shipped to me. You can also send it to me directly after the deposit if you would like. The blue body connector on the ECU side MUST be in good condition and the Idle Air Control (white) connector MUST be in good condition as well. I will also be using the firewall boot. The harness will not be returned.

• Your new harness will be shipped to your payment address. Shipping is included in the price for the lower 48 United States.

Hmmm, if this doesnt require a core I would've jumped on it. Reason being, I just spent 350 for a single turbo harness with less than 2k miles on it. And if I actually buy this harness, would 1k for a new harness.

Not as cost efficient in my situation, but good luck with the gb. I would really like to have a new harness custom made =)

Looking good Aeka GSR! Great seeing you again at Sevenstock. Great job on the product. I know that you went to great lengths to source the factory connectors. I will definitely forward this to others who might be interested! Stay in touch!

Edit: Jus out of curiosity, how much additional would it be for 2 additional secondary injector connectors for those of us running 4 secondaries.

Wire is mil-22759 size used ranges between 20awg and 16awg.
Heat shrink meets MIL-1-23053/5 Class 1 specs.

It was good to see you again! Each extra connector is $40 so you would be looking at $80 more for that setup. Are those run in series or parallel?

yeah the OEM FD harnesses are definitely lower grade than the OEM FC harness (much crappier wire). There is a need for this product.

Are you reusing the ECU connectors? Is that why you need a core?

I'm running the same with a PFC, no resistors. 4 1000cc Yaw Powers. I may have to get one of these early next year. My factory harness is not in that great of shape.

One "ecu" connector I cannot get nor can I find the iac connector since it isn't listed in the manufacture's catalog. I also re use your firewall boot. I will be looking at aircraft plugs in the future but they are spendy. This will eliminate the need for using the boot thing.
Another reason why I require a core is because I'm looking toward the future. I don't know how long these new connectors will be in supply in the lower quantities that I need. Most places want 5000 piece minimum qty per line.

You should do something similar for the charging harness. I am about to have to order a new one from Mazda.

Yeah the body harness is the next thing I'm going to take a look at. It's also the only one you can see.

Correct... running RX8 primaries and 4 x 1000 cc Yaw Power secondaries with no resistors. Working fine now for more than a year.

I would also be interested in the battery harness since mine is getting pretty old. Just replaced my main engine harness when doing my rebuild a little over a year ago.

Just got my harness, very impressed with the quality and craftmanship for this harness. Highly recommended!

Pictures attached, see it for yourself.

P.S. A thermoswitch is also included which I have no awareness of!! A++++

by the way, I also special requested Jared to have the harness made with FJO driver pre-wired therefore no more hassels in the future when wiring the FJO driver in! Gotta love this =)
