engine code 27, damn omp HELP
My check engine light gave me the code for the omp, i disconnected the plug behind the alternator, is that the only one. im trying to dissable it to see if thats wuts give the code and putting me into limp mode. After i disconected the one behind the alternater and went for a drive it still went into limp mode. any help. I search and found nothing on disabling the dam thing, also thinking about removing it but wut do you do with the plug, wire in some resistors like the the n/s mode?

right mate,,,what info do you want,,, if you unplug it the ECU will detect this and put the car in limp mode,,,i dont know of any way to put resistors in place to make it work,,,and this would also be very bad if you wasnt running 2 stroke,, (as the oil metering pump wouldnt be working like it was designed to)
as for repair ikm unsure,,,if you find anything please let me know

Um....you do realize that your engine will go bye-bye if your OMP isn't working, right? (unless you are pre-mixing)
I don't thick you can remove the OMP with the stock ecu. If yours is bad, look on the forum as people sell them from time to time. A new one will be $1200+.

Does anyone know the resistor ohms to hook up to the main harness (next to alternator) ?
I want to atleast be able to drive untill I order the new one and install it ~2 weeks.
I have searched and it seems that no one has attempted this before....eliminating it w/ the stock ecu and bypassing the harness to avoid the code. With the unit still in there, it will be dripping some oil <50% and the pre-mix will handle the rest.
