Question emmisions on street port FD

Hi everyone, hows it going? I am looking at buying a street ported 93 FD with intercooler, full exhaust(no cats), power FC with commander and stock rebuilt twin turbos. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I need this car to pass aircare(emmisions). If I throw on a highflow cat, will I be fine? Did this car come with 1 or 2 cats? Does streetporting and the other mods appreciably make a diff to emmisions? The car I want to purchase is in WA, and I just want to make sure I can make the car streetable here in Vanc. Anybody who has an idea, I would appreciate it. Thank You.

completely depends on your local emissions standards as well as how large of a streetport

Max Cooper just failed california emissions with an N-tech hi-flow cat, downpipe, and a streetport. He put the pre-cat back on and passed just fine.

So I should be good if I put on the stock pre cat and a regular cat.... or have a few gazillion dollars... or a case of beer. Still, is there anyone with an FD in Vancouver who has a streetport with just a highflow cat? Or even Cali for that matter, I am sure the standards are pretty much the same. Thanks.

If you learn to use the PFC you can pass the sniffer part with ease. a high flow cat will work or put a stock cat on for the test.
