Emmisions?? Hmm....

I am currently putting together a pretty sweet little RX-7. JDM motor, stock new turbos running 14psi. Straight through exhaust, pulleys, FMIC, Walbro pump, 1300cc injectors, SAFC2 to control the fuel and such. Trust Intake, umm...some other stuff. My question is will this bastard pass emissions? Anyone have any advice or settings or anything?

yeah. Without Air pump and at least main cat, you won't pass. Also, I don't think that SAFC can control all those mods very well with the stock ecu. You might blow that "JDM motor" of yours pretty quick at 14 psi.

You can't control the engine with the S-AFC. I suggest you either do some more research or talk to KD Rotary.

Please explain how you think it could possibly pass emissions if you are removing all of the catalytic converters.....

Currently in PA you wouldn't pass in Philly or Pitt. Elsewhere you'll have to pass a visual, which is getting much stricter now. I say keep on a high-flow cat and you'll be fine outside those cities.

Actually in PA, in the town I'm in right now, there are no emissions, just the visual which involves checking for a cat pretty much. I'm basically in the town from the movie deliverance. And the safc2 is controlling stuff pretty well for the time being. I'm not rich, so I don't have a bag of money under my bed to go out and by a PowerFC and commander at will. But I'm going to, for sure. And no of course if I remove all the cats, it will not pass emissions, I'm well aware of this. I apologize for being confusing, but I was simply wanting to know how everyone on here who has a daily driven 3rd gen that is somewhat modified, if not heavily to pass emissions. There will come a time I have to pass it, and I'm just curious as to what some people did. Thanks a lot.

Keep the stock parts, spend a few hours putting it back to stock if you need to. Or maybe don't modify it so much that it won't pass emissions.

Your only other option is to bribe someone, but that's very illegal and there are harsh penalties. I wouldn't recommend it.
