EGR bypass question. CEL code 16
EGR bypass question. CEL code 16
I have a 94, i just bought it from the original owner. I have the original window sticker showing it was purchased in texas. I got a CEL code 16, for the EGR, and from what i can tell my EGR has a wire coming from it, ending into a blue connector. Do i have a Cali style EGR? Do i need to do the relay switch mod, or can i just unplug the connector, and vaccuum hose from the EGR solenoid (thing above the turbs on the LIM)?
Thanks
Harrison
PS, I searched quite extensively, but am not sure why i would have a cali style EGR if the car was bought in texas, so i'm a bit unsure what to do.
Edit: ECU has N3C1 on it.
Thanks

So would you guess that i do have the cali version? i'm pretty sure the EGR has wires coming out of it into the blue connector. Only thing that confuses me is that the car was delivered to texas, so not sure why it would be a cali car...
EDIT:... Finally saw on robs site, i guess all 94's have the connector...
