East Bear HID conversion in FD.
I've had my East Bear kit on my FD for about 2 years now. A friend of mine was able to get me a really good deal on a Mecatune HID H3 6300k kit, so we ordered and fit it in before the Revolution. The install was super easy and took about 2 hours for both sides. Here's some pics of the process and the results:
This is a pic of the ballast and where we mounted it.
The ballast installed on the car.
The first HID is in.
Beam comparison (before adjustments)
HID versus the bright
Both HIDs in versus brights
Up close shot
HIDs oncoming view
Overall it was well worth the $300 and the 2 hours. I won't even use my brights again since I can't tell when they are on. The HIDS provide so much more visibility. It's hard to believe until you see the difference when you are driving. Not to mention, it updates the looks and draws alot of compliments
