dyno w/ RB dual and HKS Ti

im about to tune my car for the new single turbo conv and i was wondering since i have both exhaust will there be a diff in tuning???

what im sayin is that will each exhaust change the car tuning wise??

oo i just picked up the RB last night since a few night s a ago i was driving home from college and it was a long straight road , i know i couldnt WOT so i just half way from 2k-3.5k and when i shifted from 2nd to 3rd i saw something bright in my rear view mirror

so i do it again and just what expected a BACKFIRE, a huge one lol (awesome!!!)

thats just an easy sign that i got no cats and a reason for pig to throw me a referee ticket

well thats my lil story lol

lmk guys what ya think and ill post numbers for both exhausts

mike

I think the HKS Ti will flow better than the RB duals, and thus the tuning should be a little different. But I bet there are 100+ people on this board that have been waiting for a good dyno comparison between the RB dual and one of the big, straight-thru, single pipe mufflers. If you get a chance to tune and test both, I know I would be very interested to see the comparison.

However, if you only have time to tune and test one, I would just make sure that's the one you have installed when you go to the dyno.

congrats on finishing up your single.

Sounds like you'll enjoy it

power band might changes too. I had a straight exhaust on my TII then switched to greddy SP (very quiet). Lost a noticeble amount of hp up top (some from boost creep not being as present) but noticed I had a lot more low end (exhaust velocity changed).
