How Hot Does an aftermarket BOV Get?

I recently purchased a Turbo XS Type H RFL BOV with the Supra adaptor. The Supra adaptor allows you to plumb the BOV in the location of the stock BOV.

I installed the BOV on the car last night in the stock location. Since it is much larger than the stocker, it now sits between the stock airbox and the passenger fender. The exhaust portion of the BOV points on an angle toward the hood and sits adjacent to the relays located in that part of the bay.
My question is this:

How hot will the body of the BOV get and how hot will the exhaust from the BOV get. Do I chance melting anything around it (i.e. relays, airbox, etc)?

I did have the stock BOV open vented last summer with no ill effects. Since it was pointed right at the stock airbox, I am guessing the exhaust from the BOV won't be a problem.

Anyone have a similar set up or have any bad experiences with things getting too hot due to the BOV?

No, it wont get hot enough to do any damage, but if its pointed upwards at your hood, it could litrealy blow the hood liner off. I had that happen to my old FD.

Good to know. Maybe I will point it in a different direction.
