dyno tuning results.
just got the FD dyno tuned today finally. it was on CFT's new mustang dyno (actually the first car on it so far). I have FMIC, full exhaust, intake, streetport, 14 psi on stock non seq turbos, 4x850cc injectors, and microtech LT-8 for power mods. air/fuel ratio is at 11.6 all across the board.
im not sure of the % you increase for it being a mustang dyno, but it came out as 302 hp and 250 lbft without correction. if you add 15% which i read is about average difference between mustang and dynojet, then it comes out to about 350 hp and 290 lb ft. also we added about 200 lbs to the actual weight of the car when we inputted the weight into the computer, I dont know how much if any that affected my actual hp and tq.
so what do you think of my numbers? I am pretty happy, but are they good/bad/average? next dyno day at the local place here in town im gonna go and get some dyno jet number so I dont have to mess with %age.

oh yeah, base run was 287 uncorrected (aprox 330 corrected at 15%) before this tune. also, before this tune my best time was a 12.6 @ 115mph on street tires.. Im curious as to how much if any this is going to change with the new tune.
I'd say 350 rwhp with those mods would be average to pretty good with those a/f ratios. 15 more hp with the new tune should take off another tenth or two in the quarter but not incredibly noticeable.
i didn't know that you are supposed to add 15% for a mustang dyno. I did my run and was at 324hp @ 14psi. So with that 15% is that still at the wheels? So it would be like 374hp at the wheels?

They've got me wondering about this now too, lol.

Some shops that run Mustang dynos have them set to replicate Dynojet numbers. You should ask before you dyno. We have run ours both ways but are sticking to Mustang numbers now.

yeah it was just mustang numbers.. they just set the dyno up a couple days ago. I was the first car to use it so far and its pretty damn nice, and it has AWD capabilities as well.
I got 300 rwhp without a ported motor and no midpipe (It was a very hot day, though
).
My point is that those are some very good numbers, man. 50 rwhp from a proted motor and a midpipe seems like a good deal. congrats
