I run Evans coolant with zero pressure, yet when I swapped out my throttle body and didn't remove all the air even when the engine was cold it still pushed coolant out the filler neck. It contiuned to do this till all the air made it's way to the AST. Don't know if you've done any work on your cooling system but trapped air can cause this.

On a different note, can the engine turn over with just the trailing coils firing? I accidently left Map sensor off, turned the engine over...it ran really rough for 20 sec. then it died. Now I'm trying to unflood engine, but can't tell if I'm getting spark from all coils. I'm doing this solo, so I can't crank and ground plugs at the same time. Before it was flooded, it did run for a while, so something was sparking.

Ps is your 7psi cap the little one (factory style) or the larger one with pressure release lever) I too wanted just a bit of pressure.

It doesn't take much air to displace the coolant and it's next to impossible to get it all out without one of those burping funnels. How old are your plugs ?? (running without the map sensor hooked up sends it into a really rich condition and usually does just what you said (flood/stalls the engine) should be fine once you clear out the fuel (may need to use some MMO or ATF to reseal the apex seals if the fuel was that bad) Good luck, Jack

My 7lb. pressure cap is only on my AST tank (not the small size, the one you can get at most auto supply), your main one is just the factory 0 pressure cap.
