Removing wiper blades, 93 R1

I'll make this short.

I can't take the wiper blades off. I have the cap off, bolt removed, but they're stuck on. Any tips?

give it a wiggle

do our wipers have the little thing where the arm needs to be lifted up, then wiggle it off the splines? not sure, if there is a little metal tab under the wiper arm that is what you have to do. The arm will lock in the up position if it has this setup. If not then resort back to wiggling.

I typically close the hood after the nut holding it on is removed. Pop the wiper arm up to the upright position (like you're cleaning the window) and wiggle the arm a bit. Should pop off. If not, might need a tiny shot of PB Blaster or WD-40 to break it loose - they can sometimes get corroded on a bit.

There's no metal retaining tab or anything.

If you're trying to remove the blade from the wiper arm, there usually is a little plastic tab you push in to remove the blade.

I'll try the WD-40 thing.

I'm removing the entire arm.
