they are tons of fun. You meet a lot of interesting people, and you learn a ton about your car.

I enjoyed it, and will most certainly do it again!

I did an Audi club sponsored track event at a local road course. It was very interesting. Skip Barber is a serious driving school, Im sure that would be really cool as well.

Isn't Skip Barber like $5k for 2 days or something? Personally I don't see what the big deal about drivings schools is besides to pick up on other techniques people used cause there wouldn't be professional drivers without someone having to learn first so in all reality I don't really think they are all that but some people do need the...don't get me wrong I'd go to a driving school if I had the money to waste cause it seems like a lot of fun but yeah.

If possible go to a near by track and take a ride with any instructor. It's a great experience and well worth the time.

It's probably less expensive than that new exhaust, turbo, ecu, etc and FAR less of a waste. Not to mention you're car will be twice as fast after a couple schools LOL.

If you can make it out west of DC to Summit Point, they run an event called Friday At The Track. They say it's a blast and it's Very affordable. You get skidpad time and track time with an instructor riding shotgun.

Since you live in Jersey you might be interested to know that there are schools held all the time up in the Poconos. Even at Pocono Raceway. Their website says they host driving schools including Skip Barber. I'm considering doing this too.

Fritz has some good advise there. If I lived closer I would pay him to be my instructor He's got a serious track car.
