You should probably call or e-mail one of the specialty engine builders like Pineapple racing. They'd more than likely know more about that. I don't think I've seen anyone on here running that kind of boost so I'm not sure how helpful we'll be on this one.

It depends on what size turbo but most replies are going to differ.

the 13brew is stronger than the older rotaries. ill be running about 25psi w/o pins. a lot of it has to do with tuning as well. if your tuner is good enough then hell be comfortable w/o them. this goes for the discussion about 2mm seals vs. 3mm seals.

Hurley seals are not too good. Checkpoint recently has discovered that they wear very quickly unless a large amount of premix is used. They changed their alloy sometime ago and their new material is crap.

i know of SEVERAL hurley motors that didnt even complete break in period. im not sure of what ari and abel use, but i know from my experience not to use them. i thought ari used stock seals. most people like to use stock seals. . . they are THE BEST. . .

2mm stock seals + good tuner = best setup

if you dont wanna buy new rotors due to bad seal grooves just have them opened up and go with 3mm seals like i did.

atkins 3mm seals are very good.

Yeah, Atkins I think has one of the best 3mm seals. Plus they do great work there.

you want to push high boost...go with the 3mm ianettis...

i did a lot of research into the dowell pinning solution...and the consensus amongst the builders I spoke to seemed to be that it would be wise if you are pushing past 500hp.

do a search in the single turbo section...there are a number of guys in there with pinned motors. probably a few that have twisted some previous to pinning them too.
