Mines does at about 1500RPM...but mines because of the shitty wiring to the gearbox, so it jerks around...

its called FUEL SLOSH..... the reason why this happens is because the fuel pump is not in a very efficient surge tank in the fuel tank.

there was a GB on a fix for this a while ago, im sure if you search you'll find it. and it has been proven.

You shouldn't be letting the fuel level get that low. Hard throttle at the wrong time and it might get expensive.

yeah, well mine does it at idle....well not a lot but it doesnt stay at a steady idle. i can hear and feel the small stutters. i am idling at around 750.

i always fill up when i get around 1/4 tank so i dont think im low enough to feel anything.

I've never had that happen during normal driving, and it has many, many times been low enough to turn on the "low fuel" light. I have, early on in my experience with the car, had it happen at high lateral G-loads (I don't let this happen any more - as Sgtblue says, fuel starvation is dangerous to the health of the motor), but no other time.

If it is happening during normal driving, you have a fuel pick-up issue or (less likely) a fuel pump issue.

This is fairly common in pre-93 rx-7's because the baffling in the tank is plastic and it has a tendency to fall apart over time. When you get low on fuel, sloshing becomes an issue because it allows air to get into the pump. I have mostly found this to be true during spirited driving (on really low fuel).
