Does the greddy elbow help anything? or just for bling bling?

The alloy used doesn't polish like other aluminum I've polished including the stock casted manifolds or even welding filler. The elbow is cast in 2 pieces if you look closely you'll see that. Also there are several hard to reach places where it isn't polished. If you sand at all into it you'll run into pitting and the inside surface where air flows is very rough and has many high spots. There is no other metal elbow obviously so this one will have to do for those that want a clean look. Most people that have the greddy elbow still end up making rediculously curved intercooler piping to get to it any way so they should have just kept the stock one. I had to get the greddy elbow to have a straight shot from the outlet of the intercooler, to have a place to tap for water/alc injection and air intake thermosensr and least important to match the rest of the polished parts. If you don't need to do any of these I say forget it it's not worth the money at all. My elbow used to have the AWS hose and 2 Injector bungs on it. Ohh and what name embossed on the elbow?? As my friend says take that gruffy **** off of there they suck.
Here are a few pictures of my elbow:

Surge, Nice Job! I tried polishing my UIM and that was a lot of work. Not quite done but I can finish it on the car.
I too have a PFS IC and the stock plastic elbow works fine. I would like to replace it with Greddy elbow just to go all metal.

Dear Lord... AHh... Yes. the (Kai's avatar rules!!) Greddy elbow does little to enhance performance (Twin kilimanjaros) but is not susceptible to cracking (Feed Me) as it's stock counterpart. Not sure the extra weight (Awesome fun bags) would be detrimental to performance, but at this juncture,..who really gives a damn. (Eye's still fixtated on Kai's monster titty photo).
mines has the 2 extra injectors although im not using them, i was thinking of turning them in to waterinjection injectors but i have been too lazy to do anything haha. in anycase, it looks good and if you stock one is cracked, why not get it.
yes take of the hose for the AWS and plug it up. i think it is a 5/8" cap. advanced auto parts had carries it, but only in the larger store. i think it was in the hoses/radiator stuff section. do a search, someone posted a part number awhile ago for the HELP stuff.
