Does anyone know of a picture by picture for the poor mans non-sequential mod... I am looking into doing this and would like pictures to guide me....

I did it but dont have the camera to take pictures. I might be doing a friends soon so if so I will get some pictures with his dig. camera.

 

What did you do with the charge control butterfly? can you give me a quick step by step.. I have searched the forum but everyone is a little different.

Brining this thread back from the dead. Im sick of troubleshooting my seq. Anyone got pictures of what needs to be done poor man style until I get more patience.

 

I have a decent walk through saved on my home computer, ill post it when i go to lunch.

 

Appreciate it very much good sir. I am curious for anyone who knows how laggy will poor man nonseq be on a heavily street ported car with full exhaust and intakes? Also curious could I just wire the door on turbo and y pipe open and not have to tear crap out like vac lines and such as I plan to revisit my sequentials when I have more patience?

I'm actually interested in this as well if I don't figure out which solonoid is causing my secondary to crap out on me. I plan on going back to sequential...but I'm curious as to how nonsequential will perform (aka how laggy).

 

I heard 3.5-4k on a stock car id figure 500rpm sooner on a ported motor?

the vaccum diagram of dontbearikki.com is posted below, quality is crappy but you can see whats there.

as far as boost goes i get full 7psi (using pfc as boost controller, so thats all it does...no creep, solid boost-- at 3,200-3,500 rpm.....i would assume at MOST it would lag till 3,000 on a street port, but prob less.

with the non-sequential, you do just remove everything, the only thing i left alone was fuel pressure solenoid, and the wastegate controll on the UIM...needed that cause im using my PFC as a boost controller.

Thanks so much fd3boost and gravvy! So I am assuming I can get away with leaving everything in and just wire the tca open, cap off the crv and ypipe door?
