Does the 99 Rx7 take R12 or R134a freon?

Thanks a bunch, I'll start looking for some R134a in that case, luckily I won't have to get certified or anything to buy it so that's a relief!

The US converted to R12 in 1995. I THINK Japan either converted a little earlier or a little later.
But I'm 99% sure by '99 it was 134a.

July 20th 1993 (start of version 2) is when the change from R12 to R134a happened. This is approximately when the 1994 models began for North America too. Refrigerant amounts are different for RHD, but I'm not awake enough to look through the 7/93 workshop manual right now. Also, the procedure is quite specific (identical to 20b Cosmo). When I'm closer to the finish line on the wiring book, I'll take a look at this next.
