No, you don't need to as long as the level of the brake fluid doesn't drop below the inlet of the clutch master.

The clutch opperates from its own system and only draws from the brake res.

If there is any doubt, do it anyway.

Go to the auto parts store and buy a Impact driver( the hand held tool). It usually comes with a few different sized bits. Usually a phillips head like you need. Spray a bunch of pentrating lube on the bolts and have at it. The impact driver will give you the shocking blow force by smacking it with the hammer, and it turns the bolt at the same time,( Don't forget to clean the rotors with break cleaner so none of the penatrating lube gets on the new pads )

IF they happen to break...DO NOT freak out!!! You really don't need them to have your breaks work properly.. They just help locate the rotor while putting the caliper back on and such. Once the caliper is on and the wheel.....It's not going anywhere. Just grind the bolt fluch with the hub and your good to go! Hope this helped a little.

Bret at RP performance showed me this trick. Take a sharp pointed object maybe a chissel, leather punch etc....place the pointed tip at an angle facing left for loose and hit it with a hammer. It tears bolt up but who cares you don't need them anyway

Well you don't really need the new screws like said above. They only hold the rotor on while you put the caliper on, but new screws will work I guess..

I used a 1/4" socket with a phillips head tip in it and a huge *** rachet to get mine out. I bought an impact driver but it didn't work for ****.
