that is more than likely the top of your fuel pulsation dampner leaking. You need to take off the throttle body and upper intake maifold. Also remove the air control valve thats mounted to the side of the lower intake manifold.Removal of the solenoid rack and vacuum hoses is also neccesary.Final;ly you will have acess to the fuel rail. You will need to remove the fuel rail in order to be able to remove the fuel pulsation dampner. The injectors have these little covers that have a screw on each sie that holds them in.Remove these lids and the injectors pull out.No unscrewing needed.Good luck and have some friends help.It will be a pain in the ***.

I had a fuel leak in the same area... I changed teh FPD...It still leaked. I changed the o-rings (all of them on the primary injectors)...it still leaked. I changed and checked the fuel lines and crush washers... It still leaked. I changed the fuel pressure regulator...it still leaked.

Finally I called RX7.com and they told me that sometimes the fuel actually leaks out the electrical plug on the injector... I bought new injectors from them and now I have no fuel leak.

A way to see your leak is to remopve the UIM and everything else so you can see the ares. Make sure it is all dry. I used carb cleaner and compressed air so everythign was nice and dry. Then I pinched off the fuel return line with pliers and junpered teh fuel punp in the test connector so it would stay running.

With the return line plugged and everything nice and dry it took about 3 minutes to see where the leak was coming from.
