Do I have a bov leak?

When i'm in third gear at a higher rpm this usually happens. If i'm on the gas about 1/4 throttle, I can hear the PSHH sound from the bov goin continously till i let off the gas. It is the stock bov by the way.

The CRV is the "other" one that looks just like the BOV but sits closer to the turbos. It says CRV right on it BTW.

Are you vented to the atmosphere?

If you are venting the stock BOV, it does do that. Mine has done it ever sence I vented. You just can't hear it in the airbox.

I once tried re-installing a stock bov that i got from someone and it did that too. it was odd. sounded like **** too. boost felt a little weak with the stock bov like that so i kept my XS RFL one installed. The RFL is a little too FL for me...

Lol, try the bov-H if you think the rfl is too loud, its a bit quieter and cosmetically i think its the best looking valve around.

(not bias )

So , I gather that its not good to have that sound ? I also have a blitz bov in my garage, but I was told by an rx7 expert that it is defected. But , i'm gettin some really mixed responses , lol. Thanks for the help though. I'm gonna check and see if the crv is leaking.
