Did i seriously hit 20+ psi this mornning?
.............Yeah yeah my typing skills are **** becasue I peck and hunt and so peck some letters before others. Should I work on it yeah probably, but I would rather work on my 7.
Now if you have nothing worth while to contribute **** off

Needle-valve boost controllers really don't work very well - they still rely on the stock WG & PC solenoids for control, and boost value will vary with conditions (temperature, altitude, etc.).
Well-made ball-spring controllers (with the WG & PC actuator exits blocked), however, really do consistently control boost, regardless of conditions (assuming properly-functioning actuators and that your mods don't over-power the WG and give boost creep).

I had a 20 spike while trying to adjust one of those manual boost controllers. Just go like 40 in thrid and really lay into the gas. You'll see 20 really quickly with the boost controller not set right. Be careful with that stuff though. I was having a boost control issue too and it was related to a bad fuel injector connection and low fuel pressure. I forced it up to 15 where it should be and blew it up
don't be like me. I now have a new engine, an electronic boost controller, and a better understanding of what went wrong.
So yeah you can spike to 20psi., and I see you already know not to do it again.
