Smile diagnostic code checker tool

hi, i am thinking of buying a diagnostic code checker tool of ebay for £64.99 wich i dont think is bad. but i think i will have to change the connector plug, so does anyone know which the L and k-lines are in the diagnostic code plug on a 93 fd3s. cheers phil.

Why exactally do you want this? You know you can pull the codes with just a small piece of wire, right?

yes~~~ you need to run a jump wire from any ground to the number ten pin and watch the check engine light blink~~~~~ sweetness~~~

no way thats so cleaver, they are a rip off at the garages £40 a time to tell me that and all i need is a piece of wire. thanks very much ill go and try this now.

First verify that you do have a check engine light. A lot of the euro RX-7's didn't include them:

Wow I never knew the euro versions didnt come with check engine lights...Weird.
