Yes, guys get into 11's, although the turbos don't last long.
I recommend you search the info in this forum: https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-dyno-121/ and this site: http://dyno.zeroglabs.com/dyno.php

you'll need to be a good driver first
a slightly ported motor would help but stock is fine too
intake, full exhaust with midpipe and not a high flow cat
some kind of ecu to support 12-13psi
a 1.9 60 time shifting right at redline quick shifts
you should be right around 12.5

well im waiting for the motor to be finished, it has a full port job ...i have a power fc and greddy fmic ..apexi avcr ,4 puck act clutch and hks intake bov and full 3" turbo back exhaust ..... so with my set up and some good driving skills 12.5 is no problem??
how much would a set of nitto drag radial help... how about some m/t et slicks ??
how much more would be needed for 11s

i have stock twins/stock engine but most of the other bolt on mods and ran a 12.9 @111 on street tires 2.1 60'...i'm sure with DR's or slicks i would be a low 12. That was on 12 psi, 330whp

When I went to single turbo I had drag radials but had a problem with wheel hop so I would run 11.8s @ 122 lol on pumpgas 15.5 psi. If I had turned the boost another 7psi higher that it was tuned for to 22 with racegas and gotten some ET streets I think 10s would have been there. 450rwhp is very serious in this car. Anything above 300 is decent.

so how much could i boost the stock seq. turbos...? i know i need the injectors but im planing to buy the rx7store kit maybe in the next 2 weeks....as for tires a friend owes me some money so hes going to buy me the slicks.. i was thinking on the mickey thompson et 26x10.5x16 for the stock rims unless someone has a better set up.....
other than that i think i just need some kind of ignition up grade and the y-pipe and im done with all bolt-ons ... my goal is to hit low12s high 11s on the stock turbos before i go with the big t78 or t88 during early spring so hope fully this happends...
so with that said anyone got a y-pipe 4 sell??

It's possible you just have to be careful. i would recommend getting a diff brace and maybe some toe links and trailing arms, and other suspension mods to help with the launch. I dont have any suspensions mods on my car yet and went 12.88 @ 115 earlier tonight on street tires, shitty ones at that. so it is possible
Good luck,

you don't need a y pipe or ignition upgrade....get some 10mm plug wires and all 9s spark plugs
Just run 13psi max on the stock injectors
If you're on street tires go for a nice launch. On DRs or slicks be careful don't get too good of a lauch or you'll break the diff. I'd say 1.7 60 is about the limit before breaking the diff. If you get wheel hop let off that's what will break it more than a nice launch and hookup.

so the 13 psi is the limit on the stock injector?..hmm thats a good start but i would really like a little more psi... so y pipe wouldnt help much?
i guess with the ignition upgrade something like the hks unit wouldnt hurt ... and im sure it would help out with the tunning process...
so would the a traction bar kit eliminate the wheel hop with the slicks or th drs?.. on slicks what would be a good rpm launch? and tire presure? ... i guess i better save up a little something extra for a nice strong diff......... ive already broken the brace that hold the tranny and diff .. piece of ****...

This was my friend George's car. He had it into the 11's with the stock turbos (non sequential). I don't remember if it was ported or not, but this run was on slicks.

This car made 362 rwhp stock twin cars are making more power now due to tuning etc.
I have run 15 psi for years and occasionally run 17-18 psi and my turbos still work fine. You can run 14/15 psi and you'll be fine. Just make sure you have all the bolt ons and your car is tuned by a good tuner and you have a decent a computer.
BTW: Bolt ons mean fuel upgrades, pump and injectors along with exhaust, intake, computer, IC, etc. Do NOT skimp as it will cost you far more later.

i've been running 12 psi and untill last week it was fine. I notice that one day after a pretty hard romp on it, it would only make 5 psi. I looked under the car and HOLY ****, oil coming out of the turbo inlet on the primary. So run higher boost with caution.
