Defroster Connections

My defroster dosen't work so I checked power on the driver side connection and was getting good power.

Now on the passenger side there is two connections, one that is for sure the defroster, I checked continuity to ground and its good, that was the bottom connector.

What is the top connector, the only thing I could guess is its part of the radio system in that its one of those antenna's that is supposed to help reception in big cities or something.

I checked for power on the ground side with the Defroster on and I saw very little juice on that side. I am guessing my car may have had tint on the back window that was just torn off at one time damaging the wires. But I don't see any that have been physically torn and have gaps. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kyle

there could be broken gaps in the strips...It doesn't take much to damage those..Now they do sell stuff to fix it...Does at least one line of them work?

I am guessing someone had tint on the back window and just pealed it off. One aparently has some sort of connection, but its not strong enough to make a difference. I am seeing a little voltage on the ground side, but not enough to warm the glass.

Anyone know the answer about the top connection on the pass side? Is it part of the radio system like I think it is?

Cool, thanks, I will break out the meter and ohm the lines out when I get a chance and see if I am going to have to repair ever single one of them.
