What DO you have modified, Damon? Sway bar, shocks, wheels & tires, downpipe and cat-back?

I don't know - you're pushing the 30 un-mod rule - might need an ecu and port the wastegate.

Koni yellows
Tripoint front sway bar with custom mounts
downpipe
M2 dual catback
Miata thermoswitch
boost gauge
water temp gauge
custom radiator ducting inside nose
aluminum AST
fire sleeve around fuel lines under UIM

That's really it. Anything else is just stuff I've cleaned up.

In case nobody has seen a stock dyno

Nice setup Your really are an exception to everyone else who gets this car and wants to make it faster everyday. Also, I thought you had some kind of boost controller no?

How well did you find this fits to your stock main cat? Are you using the gaskets for the 2.5" or 3" piping?

Fit is perfectly fine and I'm using the stock Mazda gaskets at the cat connections. FYI the downpipe is a mild steel Bonez piece from www.rx7.com

Not really. The biggest pills I could find wouldn't hold boost low enough so I installed a needle valve in the stock wastegate line to hold boost to 11psi.

I thought any form of boost control bumped you up to SM2? What solo class are you running in?

2006 will allow boost control in SP, as they have no way to police its while permitting engine control of ign and fuel

Now I have great respect for Damon in keeping her stock, but I do find that I love my engine so much more without the 3k hesitation
