d/p on, too much boost?

I picked up my car from pettit yesterday after i had a dp and ast put on. I took the car out last night, kinda cool out, and i was seeing at least 13lbs of boost from the primary.... isnt this too much? I thought I would be ok with the intake and dp and the stock ecu..do i need to get a pettit ecu???

you better get some type of ecu but i recommend the pfc over the upgraded ecu's because there is so much more you can do with them plus it will save you money in the long run

the secondary was hitting @11 or so...but the primary would just shoot up like mad. I was leaning toward the pettit ecu because i have read so much about people snapping their motors with the apexi pfc... does it come pre-programed?

The Pettit ECU is fine if you don't plan on going crazy with your modding (single turbo or larger injectors).

u are likely fine for fuel, verify by dyno run before going too rich with chip.

to reduce boost, esp if fuel cut occurs, put larger pill (+.005" for start) in hose to wg act'r, or drill out integral pill if no pill in hose.
