Why not just incorporate #1 and #2 into your design and eliminate all the problems?

One other issue I just thought about... "LOW COOLANT SENSOR" where would you mount that?

the air separate tank, would take days to fill a radiator...yes it connects to a nipple on the bottom of the radiator, but that line is 1/4" or so.

It seriously took 5 mins to fill up my system, and its was air free, which saved time of the start, cool, top-off process, much nicer. My 2 cents, this outlet isnt for everyone. I think a select few could really like it, as its much cleaner, and can be made to work just requires some more advanced thought.

Can you post a pic of the new design?

How much difference is there between your waterpump outlet and the stock one in terms of how far it juts out? What I mean to ask is: can you use the stock radiator hose, or do you need a longer one?

This very similiar to my custom setup, although mine has a longer "neck." I have a big custom Al AST on my setup as well. The outlet goes straight to the AST and then to the Upper Rad Hose. Also I did have to chuck my low coolant sensor but I have a PFC with the commander constantly showing coolant temps. Just keep an eye on your temps and you will be fine.

If I did have a outlet fab'ed up to work like the one in the pic, would you want it to go straight out, or curve identically to the pic? I can very easily weld the outlet onto a nice surge tank like the pic, and hell even thread and tap a hole for low coolant sensor for the babies out there (just a joke, take it light!!). I am est. the total cost for me to do one like the pic for around $260 and include the pressure cap, as it wouldnt be the same as the factory cap size. I could even anodize it a color if enough people went in on it.

I could have them done in two weeks if anyone wants one like that.

That is almost exactly how mine is, only mine is straight instead of being curved.
