Custom stuff for 3rd gen

I've been thinking about manufacturing a customer license plate bracket for my FD. One that can retract with the push of a button, and then flip back out by pushing the button again (electronic).

Would anyone be interested in something like that..It would be for the stock front end, though would probably be easy to set up with an aftermarket. It probably wouldn't work with an FMIC, either.

Also, I've been thinking about doing LED taillights for the longest time. Would anyone buy a kit if I figured out how to do it, and gave directions, and all the pieces?

From what I recall, LEDs are pretty expensive, you'd need around 1000 leds and those things arent cheap. I could be wrong tho

I would be interested in LED tail lights, if all the lighting is red.

My friend is actaully working on led tail lights and dash lighting, he gets his LEDs off of ebay. I think he said he get 50 for $20-$30. Which adds to a whole lot when you need 1000 LEDs.

There is some model of cadillac that has all LED tail lights. maybe you can just cut sections out of that.

maybe I'm thinking of a different kind of LED lights. I'm thinking like the LED lights you see on the backs of city busses or whatnot.

They aren't expensive.

I'd be interested in both of those if someone were to get them in the works.

The LED tails would be sweet. I remember seeing something like that which plugs into a normal bulb socket, some rice accessory. It might be something to look into.
