custom intercooler to work with vented hood
His handle is Alpine here on the forum...very nice and prompt with everything so far. I've dealt with him before. Order may be under Edwardo....don't scare me.
Any thoughts on making a replica feed spoiler...the original one?

Chuck,
A comment on the flow of air through a V-mount with a vented hood.
I'm assuming there is a low pressure area on the opening of the vented hood. As such, the air that normally would go to the radiator would be pulled upward throught the IC and out through the vented hood. So I'm not really sure if a V-mount will work properly with a vented hood.

Look how V mount is positioned and you should see how it works the best with a vented hood.
The intercooler part is parallel to the ground. Normally air flow will not make a 90 degree turn but as you said, the vent at hood is at the lower pressure area so air will be drawn through the intercooler.
The radiator part is facing the air flow from the nose so it will get plenty of air if you are worried about that.
The best part of this V mount v.s the Japanese one is that it will come with a duct so air will be forced through both the radiator and intercooler that air will not escape on the sides such as on the Japanese company's v-mount. As Mr. Stock suggested, a divider on the duct will divide the air so both of the intercooler and radiator will get their own share of air flow.
