custom brake resevoir?

to anyone that reads this i hope you have done this **** yourself
I was messing around with the FD a few weeks ago* now just gotten around to caring about it enough* and i was trying to check the brake fluid resevoir, the second i tried to turn the cap off of the tank... the thing just crumbled. as if a mini nuclear bomb went off inside of it. just crumbled in my hands.. so after a few minutes of thinking up some new colorful words to scream at my car, i decided to say F U to oem parts and decided that I would just make my own resevoir. I've seen a few FD's that have made their own resevoir so I figured i might as well give it a shot. only thing is I dont have the dimensions or a good enough idea of what i need to do in order to build it. all i would need are the dimensions and anything else you can offer up to see if i can do this w/o messing up.
soo... help

Ensure that whatever you make it out of is brake fluid resistant. Lots of plastics are not.

yeahh, i found thats out already in some experimenting. i was planning on just welding something together and then giving it a coat if needed to help w/ resistance.

brake fluid is corrosive for the most part.
if you really want to **** with someone, a friend told me. that i believe its either brake fluid, or something you use to help the brakes out in a can. i will come back for the details later
but you put it on someoens car and then let it sit for a few min. then they come back and wipe it away bc they are like QWTFBBQ. and when they wipe it away it goes to the bare material that the part is made of

Brake fluid can totally rape a paint job. I've tried on my old beater
