Crazy primary boost..
I'm having crazy boost issue..
My recent issues been the primary turbo.. i have some clue about it but need some input from you guys.. if you don't mind...
So, I think this is whats been happening..
I recently drove to ATL for Petit Le Mans.. On my way there, i had zero problems.. after 2 days in ATL, i'm coming back.. I hit .85 bar on both primary and secondary turbo.. After that, all day (200 mile trip back).. I couldn't hit more than 0.35 bar on primary turbo in any gear.. Best was on 4th.. 0.12bar on 2 and 3rd.. no boost on 1st.. BUT! I can hit 0.85 bars when secondary kicks in.. and it kicks in hard.. almost like non-seq set up..
I had similar problems before (past three weeks).. I checked my vac hoses, one way, re-routed my vac lines, checked my BOV lines, checked my secondary turbo actuator, checked and replaced solenoids (I went simplified turbo set up)..
And usually next day, in the beginning, boost works fine.. but than symptom begins as car warms up or when I start hitting boost.. I think its my IC hoses.. I checked.. and then it does it again..
Anyone could suggest anything for me?? Maybe I need to get a better clamps?? Is my couplers heating up and when it softens up its leaking boost only in primary?? Or am I some how switching to non-seq with PFC?? If so, is there a solution for it??
I'm checking everything.. or maybe is it my driving habit.. I hit boost after the car warms up.. and when I think about it.. its usually after one hard pull..

Here are my mods..
PFC, simplified seq-turbo, AVC-R (both set at .80), DP, MP, apexi N1 dual with silencers, Greddy 2 row FMIC, greddy elbow, Blitz intakes, greddy pullies, efini-y pipes, block off plates (removed air pump, egr, acv, etc)..

One more question.. what would happen if my solenoid is bad?? would heat affect the solenoids?? I was thinking maybe the turbo control or pre-spool solenoid might be going bad under heat?? would this cause similar problems as I mentioned earlier??
Have you checked out this site yet? http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...leshooting.htm They have tons of good turbo troubleshooting info.
Sounds to me like a precontrol problem, which shouldn't be too tough to fix.
