Unhappy Crank no start help?

Wondering if anyone has some pointers or knows any common issues with a crank no start issue we are having. We just finished a fresh install. We have fuel to the rail (pulled fuel line under tbody during crank), verified we have spark (jumping the gap when we pulled off a wire from the plug), do not see anything unplugged, checked connections at the ecu...seems to be a fuel delivery issue. Starting it up on the stock ecu right now...Got it to start for a second with some carb spray in the booster vacuum port, but only once. Any ideas?

Quite often new motors are a bitch to start. Do you have a PowerFC? If so, go through the sensor check screen and make sure everything looks good there.

Check your fuses. Also, make sure your fuel injectors are properly plugged in and getting power.

Thanks Dale, I do not have a power FC yet...its been on back order for a month! So I'm starting it up on the stock ecm. Fuses all look good, and grounds look good. What would prevent the injectors from pulsing, any ideas? I'm not sure that's the case here, just seems most logical. I'm trying to avoid pulling the intake for diag, but if I need to check under there for pulse ill rip it back apart. Any common missed steps that would cause this issue? Thanks guys!

did you pour oil into the motor to help with compression? I heard that if there isn't any oil in the motor it wont build enough compression to start the car.

Quick question, is your rpm needle bouncing just a tad bit? And is the white crank sensor plug on the top? If not the plugs are intermixed.

If it's bouncing and the plug is correct check your injectors if it's putting out fuel. Most likely not.

It could be problems with the wiering, stuck injectors.

You are absolutely sure you got fuel pressure?

Is there any kind of fuel smell on the sparck plugs?

Also was the engine built by å knowledge person? As i have seen poorly built engines not start due to a crappy build.

I have never had a problem starting a fresh engine. They have all started easy.

Well if we count out my 13B BP engine on a non tuned E85 map with 4x 1680cc injectors

So the needle bounces a bit when cranking, and the white connector is on top. It does fire up on carb spray, and I do not hear the injectors clicking while cranking (using long screrdriver as a stethoscope). I can see they are plugged in, and tried to bang on the fuel rail while cranking (no luck). Just need to figure out why my injectors are not pulsing.....hmmm?

So I got to the front injector and with the key on I have battery voltage on both terminals? Also, I have battery voltage on both terminals while cranking...no short to ground or short to itself. Why do I have voltage on both sides to the injector? I'm going to hook up a test light and see if it flickers while cranking...

Any thoughts on why I have 12v on both terminals of my injector with it disconnected? Both key on and while cranking...
