Ok two questions how do you tell if the two plugs are on the correct sensors? and what would happen if they Wernt?

 

Catastrophic failure would probably result if the two were not in the correct places as fickle as our favorite engines are.

 

The white is the upper connector, the grey is the lower connector.

 

The white plug is on the upper sensor.

 

Well it ain't touched a road yet. But how would it run? would it Idle? or would it start at all?

I don't know when it runs it goes well over 3k but below that runs like a Dog, i've oviously done something wrong, i can't think of Much that can get mixed up? there all diffrent Plug shapes and sizes.

 

Who built the motor? what kind of vacuum at what idle rpm?

 

Just to make 100% which way round it is, On the Timing Ring (on the Pulley) there is the center bit thats lots of Blocks cut out and the Outer bit thats just got one fingure am i right in saying the upper one (white) does the Inside ring and the Grey does the Fingure? (outside)

Sorry for all the Dumb Questions i've got Flu and after spending the best part of a week out side in our Wounderfull British weather i'm not feeling well at all so i'm a bit slow at the Moment. (hence makeing sure i've Wired it up right as my head is a bit Fuzzy at the Moment.)

 

Me and the first thing i did when i had the Problem was Comp test it (its all even between 8.1-8.3 bar both rotors)

I'm not saying its defo not got an Air leak but there is just too much fuel!! even when you hold it at 1000rpm it is smooth for a minute or so then it starts to kick out Black smoke then it starts missing slightly and gets worse until it Dies, then when you try to start it again its flooded. At 1000rpm its got Plenty of Vac on the Boost gauge but i can't get the idle down low enough to get a Good reading at say 800rpm.

Even though you would'nt belive it at the Moment this is not my First Rebuild, i've just done some thing DUMB!!! and i don't know what at the Moment.

 

Thinking about it would it Run at all if they where the wrong way round?
