Crane HI-6

The little light on the side of my ignition box is red. I could have sworn that the light was green before. My car is not running good right now so I'm wondering if it's something w/ the hI-6. If anyone on the forum has a crane ignition can you tell me if the light is red?

i just got a crane amp and yeah it's red...i had a question for you though...you know how you cut the wires off the harness attatched to the stock coil...? on the negative wire...the yellow and green or blue one there's another wire that i guess is right over it making it thicker as it goes down...do you hook up that wire to the negative or do you just strip it out of the way because i hooked it up to the yellow and green or blue wire and to the black wire on the amp and now it's hesitating but i don't know if that's the exact cause...also if you're running coils do you know if the thick wire witht the insulation on it with the really thin black wire inside of it like spark plug wires needs to be spliced to hook up another metal piece to put on another tower plug...?i took off the thick insulation around the really thin black wire but i didn't splice the black wire and i wanted to know if that was another reason why the car is bogging...hehe...i was also wondering if you had to hook up the blue wire to the thin red one going to the coil harness because i heard that helps for newer crane cam amps...thanks alot and yeah the light is red...=)

Sorry can't help. I tried to hook it up myself too but I finally gave up and got a friend of mine to do it for me. I am using factory coils.
