I decided to use Godzilla's own quote from another thread about a tasteful widebody FD.

You also said that every part on your new FD serves a purpose other than the side skirts and rear bumper. How do you explain the hood then?

A fiberglass one would of been equally sufficient in the cooling area, weighed the same, and cost half as much. Or you could of even cut vents in the stocker and it would be free and served the same purpose.

the carbon fiber was cheaper than getting a quality fiberglass, that hood cost me 400 bucks, and that vented hood actually works quite well with under hood temps Famanuchu loves controversy

How long has the kit been molded in? Any cracks yet? I had it done too but it kept cracking on me so I went back to unmolded. Looks so much better molded but the upkeep is retarded. Car looks good...is that yours?

Could you post a close-up pic of your trunk without the wing on? I would like to see what you use to plug the holse while not using the wing.

so its actually gonna happen? glad to hear you are getting started... how lazy will i feel when yours is done first? im taking mine in this next week to paint the engine bay... then i can start throwing parts in. after its running ill paint the rest of the car the final color and do all the exterior aesthetics. first on the list before i start throwing parts at it is leak testing the body seals so my interior doesnt mold again!

anyway gods speed! -heath
