i just put in a midpipe in my car and went WOT and got boost creep up the ***. i havent floored the throttle since then. i installed the power fc the other day and am running the base map and still got boost creep. im in the process of installing a profec b spec I and am wondering where do people connect the power wire to? also will the profec b be able to control boost? If not, then if i got my power fc tuned, would it be able to? I really dont want to take my turbos out and port the wastegate, but if i have to i will.

If you have real boost creap, then no boost controller will stop it; unless your controller is hooked up wrong.

You would have to either increased exhaust back pressure, or enlarge the WG.

Now spiking is a different story. A better boost controller might control it.

 

Do you have a ported engine?
I had a slight port on my last fd with a midpipe and it would only creep to 12-13psi
If you don't mind running 12psi then there won't be any creep.
You can't avoid creep its a matter of the wastegate not being able to let out enough of the exhaust gas and it goes to your exhaust housing spooling the turbo more.

in my experience the pfc and profec b work very well together.

 

iam using the profec b and the pfc together, 90percent of the time i get zero creep, the only time it creeps a little bit(1pound or 2) is on really cold nights, but every car is different so i cant gurantee you that when you put on the profec b it will stop your boost creep problems, but it should help stop it somewhat.
